NEW THIS YEAR!!! We are offering cooking in both morning and afternoon sessions.
(Disclaimer: please check description before registering for further details as we do have non-cooking classes for some weeks)

Our one and only non-cooking camp is Challenge Island. June 24th – 28th , July 22 – 26th & July 29 – August 2nd. From 9 to 12 snacks will be provided.

Challenge Island offers creative problem solving fun. Campers will be placed into “tribes” that learn to work together positively, productively and compassionately to solve challenges. (non cooking camp)

Ages 5 to 16

Edible Essentials (AM) – Tropical Treats (PM)

Edible Essentials: If you are a beginner chef, this is the camp for you! The Edible Education chefs will take you through the basics of cooking starting with the number one chef basic eggs. The campers will then have the ability to test their new skills each day with more challenging dish throughout the week. Sample Menu: Omelets, Flatbread Pizzas, and Better Burgers.

PM – 1:00 to 5:00 ($225)

Tropical Treats: The summer is great for visiting the tropics, but if you can’t make it there, you can still try all of the treats paradise has to offer. Camp C.H.E.F campers will make cuisines from the Caribbean, Hawaii, and the Bahamas. Sample Menu: Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Ginger Meatballs, and Pineapple Smoothies.

Challenge Island’s YouTube Fever Camp (NON COOKING CLASS): Unbox your creativity for Challenge Island’s YouTube Fever Camp! You and your tribe will build your own studio and take part in a whole haul of super tuber activities from pranks to parodies to exciting challenges; from slime to science experiments to kinetic sand; from DIY’s to Q and A’s to your favorite YouTube stars! 95% Hands-On-You-Tube-Inspired Fun and 5% filming and safely posting videos to our Challenge Island YouTube Channel, this camp adds up to a not to be missed Kids’ Choice Extravaganza!

Food of the USA: Road Trip! Edible Education is taking a culinary tour of some of the best food stops in the USA. Our taste buds will be stopping in New England, New Orleans, San Francisco, Tennessee, and Texas, so don’t miss out on our grand food adventure! Cruise at Sea: All Aboard the SS Edible Education as we set sail on our culinary tour of the world! We will drop anchor in the ports of Jamaica, China, France, South Africa, and Mexico. Campers will get to prepare foods from these awesome cruise destinations and learn a little about the different cultures as well. Sample Menu: Spring Rolls, Pico de Gallo, Banana Bread, and Crepes.

Kids everywhere loved our SLIME Squad Camp last summer and asked for more! So, this summer’s SLIME TIME Sequel is full of super fun, oh so satisfying, NEW 2019 Slime-y Steam challenges! An action-packed week full of all kinds of slime, slime tricks, slime games, slime experiments, and top-secret slime inventions. A must for every SLIME Fan!

Science of Cooking: Love to cook? Need help with math and scientific concepts? Then have we got the camp for you! Science has never been this tasty. Challenge Island’s American Girls and Dolls Camp- #1- The Original!

(This camp is different than the American Girls and Dolls-Part #2 Camp that was held at Edible Education last year)

Calling all doll-loving girls! Challenge Island invites you and your favorite American 18-inch companion to this star-studded camp! You and a tribe full of friends will create an entire world for your dolls – decking out houses, designing fun furniture, and crafting cool doll clothes. From Julie’s Groovy Day to Kaya’s Adventure Day to Rainforest Day with Lea Clarke, our American Girls and Dolls Camp promises to be one for the American Girl History Books!

Sweetheart Baking (Ages K- 3) (14 campers max) : New to the kitchen? This baking camp is for younger campers who just want to bake. The campers will learn from start to finish, not only how to cook awesome dishes, but the basics of running their own restaurant. On the last day the students will get the chance to open their very own restaurant and invite their families to join in on the fun! Sample Menu: Soups, Salads, and Sides, How to cook Different Meats, and Different Desserts.

Sample Menu: French Bread, Viennese Whirl Cookies, and Japanese Cheesecake.
