Peach Lemonade

  • 3 peaches
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 7 cups water divided
  • 1 ½ cup fresh lemon juice (8-10 lemons)

Equipment: Saucepan, Spoon, Cutting board, Knife, Measuring cup. Juicer, Blender, 2 quart pitcher

Peel and cut the peaches into quarters and place in a saucepan with sugar and 2 cups of water.  Bring to a boil. Turn heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.  Let the mixture cool for 5-10 minutes.  While the mixture is cooling, juice your lemons.  Place 1 ½  cups of fresh lemon juice into a pitcher.  Set the pitcher aside.  Pour the cooled contents of the saucepan into a blender and blend until smooth (approximately 1 minute).  Pour the contents  of the blender into the pitcher with the lemon juice.  Add the remaining 5 cups of water.  Stir.  Pour into cups filled with ice. Enjoy!
